A Strictly Fabulous Fundraiser!

Wonderful supporters from Newcastle, London and even Australia enjoyed a fabulous evening at our Strictly Fun ball at the Radisson Hotel in Glasgow and raised a great £12,000 for children with cancer.

Special guest Ross Granger stole the show when he presented TV actress Libby McArthur with a bouquet.  Ross six, has recovered from devastating kidney cancer diagnosed when he was just 11 months old. He passed the golden milestone of five years cancer-free earlier this year.

Lovely Libby, star of the BBC drama River City, worked with BBC sports journalist Chick Young to make excellent comperes.  Lanark Market auctioneer Willie McCulloch had everyone reaching for their wallets. Almost 200 took to the dance floor after dancers Graham and Trish thrilled with their salsa and masterclass.

Many thanks to everyone who worked to make this such a successful event. Children helped by CLIC Sargent and the Sydney Children's Hospital will benefit.
