Who Are We?

The Scots Australian Children's Cancer Trust was set up by the family and friends of infant Joseph MacDermid who underwent treatment for a brain tumour diagnosed shortly after his parents, Ewan and Maree, emigrated to Australia from Glasgow in 2008.
Joseph MacDermid was only 18 months old when he was diagnosed with a brain tumour, having emigrated to Australia shortly before in January 2008, with his parents Ewan and Maree.  He has received neurosurgery and chemotherapy at the Sydney Children's Hospital (Randwick). So far his scans remain clear.

Knowing how terrifying childhood cancer is for children and their families, the MacDermids want to fund raise to help others in their situation. They set up the Scots Australian Children’s Cancer Trust in 2009 and fundraise for:
